DmC Reboot - Captive 2012 review

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

DmC is a Reboot of the previous series Devil May Cry
that is now being developed by Ninja Theory; most of
the hard core fans of the original series are enraged
by the new Character Design of the main protagonist
Dante, and also rebooting the whole game while
leaving most of the plot unexplained and hanging.

DmC Reboot features a new Dante, which is a
Half Demon and Half Angel Hybrid that smokes,
drinks and has a tattoo, which is a complete opposite
from the original series that is a Half Demon and
Half Human Hybrid, smart talker, pizza and strawberry
milkshake loving Dante (that is too cool to smoke).

The preview from the game features some elements that is seen from its previous titles,
which are the Combo System, Attacks, and Weapon switching system, other things that
was added to the game is the Stance System in Demon stance, you can use the slower,
more powerful attacks and an Axe. Angel stance will be fast and based on traversal;
and you'll have a Scythe. This could be true or just the weapon Dante is wielding that
makes it slower and more powerful. Since NT hinted on different weapons, there is no
telling what other demonic weapons will be available. None the less the game graphics
and fight scenes are pretty much smooth and well made, which makes your hands itching
to play the game. Will the reboot surpass the Epicness of the original series?
Well will just have to find out when the game is released!
